Horseback Trail Rides  
     
  All of our rides are with well broke and trained stock, we use both horses and mules. We provide an introductory and safety briefing prior to each ride. Helmets are available for anyone, but not required. Many of our riders are first time and all have a very enjoyable experience.
 

Our most popular ride is the 4 hour lunch ride, where we go from the lodge on a trail and into the Highland Mountain Range and having lunch along the way. Cost is $65.00 per person. Very scenic and relaxing.

For first time and beginners we recommend the 2 hour ride where you go from the lodge toward the Highland Mountains and have a variety of terrain. Cost is $35.00 per person.

Continental Divide ride a 6-7 hour long ride where we trailer the horses to the top of the Continental Divide then ride along the divide and back to the lodge with lunch along a little creek on the way. You can see for miles. Cost per person is $125.00 minimum of 3 riders.

We offer all day rides to a mountain lake in addition to our day rides from the Guest Ranch. For these trips we leave from the ranch in a vehicle with horses in the trailer, it is about an hour and half drive and from there we ride about 5 miles into the Tobacco Root Mountains. That has us arriving at the Lost Cabin Lake around noon, we do some hiking there, stretch our legs give the horses a rest and have lunch. The view is beautiful and the weather is unpredictable, you are at about 9000 feet in elevation. This is a long day and very refreshing. You would return to the lodge at supper time. Dinners are available $12.00 per person. Minimum notice of 3 days prior. The cost for these day trips is $225.00 per person for 2-3 and if 4 to 7 go the cost is $195 per person.
